At our coffee shop, we are dedicated to bringing you a unique experience with our selection of freshly roasted speciality coffee. Our beans are carefully sourced from Yemen, a region renowned for producing some of the finest Arabica coffee beans in the world. What sets Yemeni coffee apart is the extraordinary flavour profile that comes from the unique growing conditions and traditional farming techniques used by the local farmers.
The coffee plants in Yemen thrive in the challenging mountain terraces, where they benefit from the cool climate and rich soil. These ideal conditions contribute to the exceptional quality and flavour of the Arabica beans. The farmers in Yemen have been cultivating coffee for generations, passing down their expertise from one generation to the next.
Once the coffee cherries are harvested, the farmers employ natural and traditional methods to dry the beans. This process, which has proven to be successful for hundreds of years, contributes to the distinctive taste of Yemeni coffee. The beans are carefully dried under the warm sun or in shaded areas, allowing them to develop their unique flavours and aromas.
However, it is important to acknowledge that growing, harvesting, and importing Yemeni coffee beans can be a costly affair. The ongoing conflict in Yemen has further exacerbated the challenges faced by the farmers and producers. The volatile situation disrupts the supply chain, leads to higher production costs, and increases the risks associated with exporting the coffee beans.
Despite these difficulties, we firmly believe in supporting the Yemeni coffee industry and the hardworking farmers that contribute to it. That’s why we continue to sell our coffee at a competitive price. By doing so, we aim to provide a sustainable income for the farmers and foster the growth of the coffee industry in Yemen.

Established in 2020 we have won the Coffee Shop of The Year (2021/2022, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024) in recognition of our exceptional coffee, great service and the way we have continued to grow and develop our business. Yahya, the owner and manager has also been recognised locally as Business Person of the Year 2023, an achievement we are all very proud of.
